I am an economist and sustainability scientist. I completed my doctorate at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at the University of Potsdam on the expected and observed consequences of the digitalisation of industry for environmental sustainability. Before that, I studied business administration and economics in Dresden and Berlin. During my studies and in my professional career, I gained experience in international environmental policy and research at the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in Geneva, in the European Parliament in Brussels, at the Institute for Ethics and AI at the University of Oxford and at the National Taiwan University (NTU) in Taipei, among others. Since 2019 I am a researcher in the research project “Digitalisation and Sustainability Transformations” at the Research Institute for Sustainability (RIFS) Helmholtz Centre Potsdam.

About the RIFS: The RIFS is part of the Helmholtz-Centre Potsdam. Die Helmholtz Research Organisation is funded by the German federal government and the federal states (70 %) as well as through third-party funding (30 %, 2021 figures).
